Tomo Max Keel Fins medium
The performance sweet spot between twin and keel templates. Avant garde Australian shaper, Daniel “Tomo” Thomson says, “I began riding the Revo Max with the Endorfins Twin + 2 template, and it felt great, but I was struck by how pivoty the board felt because of how narrow the bases of the fin were in comparison to traditional Keel fins. I knew I wanted more directional stability to match the rail line of the Revo Max, but not as much directional ‘lock in’ that traditional Keel templates are known for, so I immediately set out to design a fin that had enough base to create sufficient directional drive, but wasn’t so raked that it inhibited immediate response in performance maneuvers. What I landed on was a performance Keel fin with just barely enough upright leading edge and trailing edge to create what has proven to be a extremely good sweet spot. Looking at the fin offerings at surf shops today, I think we’ve got something truly unique to pair with a truly unique shape - the Revo Max.” The Tomo Max Keel Fin Set works well in waves 2 to 8 foot, in a variety of conditions.
